Ingredients

2 (14 oz) cans brown beans in tomato sauce (398 ml X 2)

½ medium sweet onion - diced (160 g)

¼ cup ketchup (60 g)

½ tsp salt (2 g)

1 tsp black pepper (2 g)

½ tsp dried mustard (2 g)

1 tsp chili powder (2 g)

½ tsp cumin (1 g)

1 tsp Worcestershire sauce (gluten-free)(5 g)

¼ cup brown sugar (50 g)

6 pieces bacon - cooked/chopped (50 g)



Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (176°C). Lightly spray a 2 quart casserole dish and set aside.
  2. Combine all ingredients and mix together.
  3. Bake in preheated oven for 45 minutes 


 

Tips & Variations

  • For a vegetarian version, omit bacon and add ½ cup tomato sauce.
