Ingredients  

Salad

2 cups broccoli- cut into small florets (175 g)
1 cup red seedless grapes- quartered (170 g)
6 strips bacon- cooked/chopped (150 g)
3 sticks celery – chopped (155 g)
⅓ cup red onion- minced (40 g)

Dressing

1 cup mayonnaise (240 g)
2 tbsp granulated sugar (30 g)
2 tbsp white vinegar (24 g)
½ tsp salt (2g)
1 tsp black pepper (2g)

Directions

Dressing

  1. In a medium bowl, combine all ingredients and set aside.

Salad Bowl

  1. In a medium bowl, combine vegetables and prepared dressing, mix until combined.
  2. Refrigerate for 1 hour prior to serving.
  3. Toss in cooked bacon prior to serving.

Yields 6 side servings

Individual Salad Jars

  1. Divide mixed dressing into bases of 6 (4 oz) mason jars.
  2. Layer in the following order; broccoli, celery, grapes, bacon and lastly onion.
  3. Store in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours. Shake and serve.

Yields 6 servings

Tips & Variations

  • Layer in mason jars so the veggies stay crisp and the onion doesn’t over power the flavour.
