Ingredients  

Basil and Tomato

100 g butter - room temperature 
8 basil leaves - chopped (8 g) 
1 tbsp sundried tomatoes - chopped fine (gluten-free) (20 g) 

Garlic and Parsley 

100 g butter - room temperature
2 tbsp fresh parsley - chopped (1 g) 
1 garlic clove - minced (3 g) 

Lemon Thyme 

100 g butter - room temperature 
1 tbsp fresh lemon juice (8 g) 
½ small lemon - zested (2 g) 
1 tbsp fresh thyme - stems removed/chopped (1 g) 


Cinnamon

100 g butter - room temperature
2 tsp cinnamon (6 g) 


Maple Butter 

100 g butter - room temperature
1 tbsp maple syrup (15 g) 
1 tbsp brown sugar (10 g) 


Directions

Flavoured Butters

Basil and Tomato 

  1. Place butter in a medium bowl. Using a wooden spoon, press butter against the side of the bowl until it is soft and creamy in texture.
  2. Add chopped basil and sundried tomatoes. Mix until fully incorporated.
  3. Lay a piece of plastic wrap on the counter and pile the butter mixture in the middle.
  4. Use the plastic wrap and the aid of a spatula, form butter mixture into a log shape.
  5. Wrap tightly with the plastic wrap and twist ends to seal (like a candy wrapper).
  6. Place in the refrigerator overnight to set up. Remove from refrigerator and slice into desired portions.
  7. Use on your favourite Kinnikinnick Bread or add to your next pasta dish. 

Garlic and Parsley 

  1. Place butter in a medium bowl. Using a wooden spoon, press butter against the side of the bowl until it is soft and creamy in texture.
  2. Add chopped parsley and garlic. Mix until fully incorporated.
  3. Lay a piece of plastic wrap on the counter and pile the butter mixture in the middle.
  4. Use the plastic wrap and the aid of a spatula, form butter mixture into a log shape.
  5. Wrap tightly with the plastic wrap and twist ends to seal (like a candy wrapper).
  6. Place in the refrigerator overnight to set up. Remove from refrigerator and slice into desired portions.
  7. Use on Kinnikinnick Hamburger Buns or Kinnikinnick Hot Dog Buns for a flavourful garlic toast or use as a finishing butter. 

Lemon Thyme

  1. Place butter in a medium bowl. Using a wooden spoon, press butter against the side of the bowl until it is soft and creamy in texture.
  2. Add chopped thyme, lemon juice and lemon zest. Using an electric mixer, mix until fully incorporated.
  3. Lay a piece of plastic wrap on the counter and pile the butter mixture in the middle.
  4. Use the plastic wrap and the aid of a spatula, form butter mixture into a log shape.
  5. Wrap tightly with the plastic wrap and twist ends to seal (like a candy wrapper).
  6. Place in the refrigerator overnight to set up. Remove from refrigerator and slice into desired portions.
  7. This light and refreshing butter pairs great with pasta or seafood.

Cinnamon

  2. Add cinnamon and mix until fully incorporated.
  3. Lay a piece of plastic wrap on the counter and pile the butter mixture in the middle.

  5. Wrap tightly with the plastic wrap and twist ends to seal (like a candy wrapper).

  7. Keep on hand for delicious cinnamon toast using  Kinnikinnick Cinnamon Raisin Bread.

Maple

  1. Place butter in a medium bowl. Using a wooden spoon, press butter against the side of the bowl until it is soft and creamy in texture.
  2. Add brown sugar and maple syrup. Using an electric mixer, mix until fully incorporated.
  3. Lay a piece of plastic wrap on the counter and pile the butter mixture in the middle.
  4. Use the plastic wrap and the aid of a spatula, form butter mixture into a log shape.
  5. Wrap tightly with the plastic wrap and twist ends to seal (like a candy wrapper).
  6. Place in the refrigerator overnight to set up. Remove from refrigerator and slice into desired portions.
  7. Keep on hand for delicious maple toast using your favourite Kinnikinnick Bread.
