Ingredients

454 g French style green beans
¼ cup cream 32% (48 g)
1½ tbsp fresh lemon juice (22 g)
2 tsp Dijon mustard (10 g)
¼ cup olive oil (45 g)
1½ tbsp chives - chopped (5 g)
1 tbsp fresh tarragon - finely chopped (2 g)
½ tsp salt (2 g)

1 tsp pepper (2 g) 
¼ cup Kinnikinnick Panko Bread Crumbs (28 g)
1 tbsp butter (15 g)


Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (204°C).
  2. Steam French style green beans until cooked through (approx. 5 - 7 minutes). Layer in a lightly greased casserole dish and set aside.
  3. Whisk together cream, lemon juice, and Dijon mustard.
  4. Slowly pour in olive oil in a steady stream, continuing to whisk. Add chives and tarragon. Set aside.
  5. Pour tarragon sauce over steamed beans.
  6. Combine Kinnikinnick Panko Crumbs and butter together. Sprinkle on top of green beans.
  7. Bake in preheated oven for 10 - 12 minutes until Panko crumbs are golden. 

Yields 6 - 8 side dish servings




Tips & Variations

  • For a creamier version: Toss steamed green beans in prepared sauce; omit bread crumbs and don’t bake.
