Fried Camembert Cheese with Raspberry Preserves

Ingredients  

  • 1 wheel Camembert Cheese (200g)

  • 1 1/2 cups Kinnikinnick Panko Style Bread Crumbs

  • 1/2 cup potato starch

  • Raspberry jam (or substitute)

  • 1 egg (beaten)

 


Directions

Fill a medium saucepan half full with oil. Preheat oil to 350°F.


Cut wheel of cheese into 8 pieces. Coat each piece with potato starch, dredge in egg wash and coat with Panko Crumbs.


Drop in preheated oil and cook for approx. 30-60 seconds, or until golden brown and cheese appears to swell. Careful not to overcook or the cheese will burst.


Serve with your favourite raspberry jam.
