Ingredients

1 package Kinnikinnick Pizza Crusts (300 g)
1 cup pizza sauce (gluten-free) (204 g)
80 small pepperoni slices (98 g)
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese - reserve ½ cup (112 g)
4 g fresh chives (approx. 24 pcs)

Directions


  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (204°C).
  2. Place thawed Kinnikinnick Pizza Crusts on a cutting board. Cut each Pizza Crust into 4 football shapes (use a cookie cutter or sharp paring knife). Place football cut outs on baking tray. 
  3. Divide pizza sauce between 8 football shapes. Spread pizza sauce with the back of a spoon.
  4. Top pizza sauce with ½ of the mozzarella.
  5. Top each football shape with 10 mini pieces of pepperoni (follow the shape of the football by overlapping pepperoni).

  6. Finish with reserved mozzarella.
  7. Bake in preheated oven for 10 - 12 minutes.
  8. Remove from oven and garnish with chives to create football laces (one lengthwise and three widthwise).
  9. Serve warm.

Tips & Variations

  • Try our Basic Pizza Sauce
  • Change it up by adding your favourite toppings. 
  • Trimmings from pizza crust cut outs can be used for bread cubes. Cut into bite size pieces. Drizzle with olive oil and seasoning. Toast until golden brown in the oven (5 - 7 minutes at 400°F (204°C)
