Ingredients

7 - 10 fresh basil leaves (8 g)

1¼ cups mayonnaise (300 g)

2 tsp Dijon mustard (12 g)

½ tsp pepper (1 g)

1 tsp lemon juice (5 g)

Directions

  1. Blanch basil leaves (about 30 seconds in boiling water). Transfer basil to ice water to cool and pat dry.
  2. Finely chop basil.
  3. Mix mayonnaise, mustard, basil, pepper and lemon juice in a bowl.
  4. Chill in refrigerator 4 hours prior to serving for best flavour. 
  5. Can be stored in refrigerator for 1 week.
