Ingredients 

Chicken Wings

  • 24 wings (split) (1008g)

  • 1 recipe sriracha honey ginger sauce (prepared and divided in half) (250g)

  • 1tsp paprika (1g)

  • 1 tsp garlic powder (2g)

  • ½ tsp salt (2g)

  • 1 tsp black pepper (2g)

Sauce

  • ¼ cup canola oil (50g)

  • ¼ cup sriracha sauce (67g)

  • ¼ cup gluten free soya sauce (60g)

  • ¼ cup honey (80g)

  • 1tbsp fresh ginger (grated) (15g)

  • 2 cloves garlic (minced) (7g)

 


Directions (Chicken Wings)

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Season chicken with; garlic powder, paprika, salt and pepper. Toss seasoned chicken in ½ cup of prepared sauce. Place prepared chicken on a parchment lined baking sheet. Bake for 15 minutes and then turn chicken and brush with ½ of the remaining sauce. Brush with remaining sauce and bake for an additional 10 minutes or an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C). For a crispier wings bake for an additional 7-10 minutes. Serve with remaining ¼ sauce for dipping.

 

Directions (Sauce)

In a small bowl, combine all ingredients and mix well.


Use to marinate your favourite chicken pieces or brush on as a sauce. Yields 1 cup sauce



Tips & Variations

Chicken is cooked for a total of 25minutes or an internal temperature of 165°F. Saucing throughout the cooking process allows for better coating of the chicken and less chance of the glaze burning. Use foil lightly sprayed instead of parchment to help produce a crispier wing.
