Ingredients 

Sriracha Glaze

¼ cup canola oil (50 g)

¼ cup sriracha sauce (67 g)

¼ cup gluten-free soya sauce (60 g)

¼ cup honey (80 g)

1tbsp fresh grated ginger (15 g)

2 cloves garlic - minced (7 g)


Chicken Wings

24 wings - split (1008 g)

1tsp paprika (1 g)

1 tsp garlic powder (2 g)

½ tsp salt (2 g)

1 tsp black pepper (2 g)

 


 Sriracha Glaze

  1. In a small bowl combine all ingredients and mix well.
  2. Use to marinate your favourite chicken pieces or brush on as a sauce. 

Yields 1 cup sauce

Chicken Wings

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Season chicken with garlic powder, paprika, salt and pepper.
  3. Toss seasoned chicken in ½ cup of Sriracha Glaze.
  4. Place Sriracha Glazed chicken on a parchment lined baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 15 minutes in preheated oven.
  6. Turn chicken and brush with ½ of the remaining Sriracha Glaze.
  7. Bake for an additional 10 minutes or an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
  8. For a crispier wings bake for an additional 7 - 10 minutes.
  9. Serve with remaining ¼ sauce for dipping. 


Tips & Variations

  • Chicken is cooked for a total of 25 minutes or an internal temperature of 165°F.
  • Glazing throughout the cooking process allows for better coating of the chicken and less chance of the glaze burning.
  • Use foil lightly sprayed instead of parchment to help produce a crispier wing.
