We're thirty years old in 2021! So we're celebrating You! Our allergy-friendly family.
Look out for new products, prizes, stories and surprises. It's going to be a year of comforting baked goodies, warm and fuzzies to share with everyone, allergic or not.
First, just a quick brag about us, (speach, speach!!) then we'll get to the juicy offerings we've cooked up for you.
Our beginnings were humble. A stall at the Farmers Market, 1991, in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Next, original owners, Ted & Gudrun Wolfe set up a store pioneering gluten-free baked goods. Our current owners, the Bigams, (two of the three owners are celiac) took over & have since blazed so many trails...removing more and more allergens so everyone can share safe and scrumptious food with family and friends. In the 1990s Kinnikinnick became the first fresh food company offering online home delivery when this 'new internet thing' started up. We were soon the biggest gluten-free bakery in North America. Today we're in 15,000 stores across the continent and the world, crafting baked goodies free from gluten, dairy, nuts, peanuts, soy, and more than half free from egg. We're still family-owned, quite a feat in times of behemoth food conglomerates trying to take over. We're not in this as a money-making fad. Our hearts are in everything we do. We're passionate about making new products so safe and so scrumptious everyone can share, allergic or not. |
