Ingredients  

Taco Beef

1 lb lean ground beef (454 g)
2 tsp chili powder (6 g)
2 tsp ground cumin (4 g)
½ tsp paprika (2 g)
½ tsp salt (2 g)
½ tsp black pepper (1 g)
½ tsp crushed red pepper flakes (3 g)
¼ tsp garlic powder (1 g)
¼ tsp onion powder (1 g)
¼ tsp dried oregano (1 g)


Pizza

1 Kinnikinnick Pizza Crust (150 g)
¼ cup Taco Beef (30 g)
⅓ cup salsa (gluten-free) (80 g)
2 tbsp corn (24 g)
2 tbsp black beans - drained/rinsed (30 g)
4 cherry tomatoes - assorted colours/halved (44 g)
¼ cup shredded mozzarella cheese (28 g)
¼ cup shredded cheddar cheese (28 g)
Optional: garnish with sour cream and green chilies


Directions

Taco Beef

  1. Combine all spices together in a small bowl. Mix until combined.
  2. In a medium skillet, cook hamburger until ¾ cooked. Add spice mixture and continue cooking until thoroughly cooked (160°F/71°C).
  3. Remove from heat and let cool.

Pizza

  1. Preheat oven to 435°F (223°C).
  2. In a small bowl, combine mozzarella and cheddar cheese. Set aside.
  3. Place Kinnikinnick Pizza Crust directly on baking tray.
  4. Spread salsa on top of pizza crust. Top with ½ of the cheese mixture.
  5. Layer pizza with cooked Taco Beef, tomatoes, black beans and corn. Top with remainder of cheese mixture.
  6. Bake in preheated oven for 12 - 15 minutes until crisp and cheese is melted.
  7. Garnish with sour cream and green chillies.
    Yields 1 Pizza



Tips & Variations

  • Leftover Taco Beef freezes well. Freeze and pull out for your next nacho night.
  • Top your Pizza creation with Zippy Guacamole.
