Directions
In a medium skillet melt butter over medium low heat. Add celery, onion, lemon juice salt, pepper and garlic powder; sauté until tender (3-5 minutes). Remove from heat and let cool.
In a medium bowl, mix cream cheese until smooth. Add mayonnaise, hot sauce, sautéed veggies and crabmeat to cream cheese and mix until combined. Fold in ½ cup grated cheese and parsley, stir until combined. Place in a bake proof serving dish and top with remainder of the cheese. Bake at 350°F (176°C) for 15-18 minutes or until heated through and cheese is bubbly. Serve with your favourite dippers.
Tips & Variations
- Dip can be made ahead of time and baked prior to use.
